Aygün Erdoğan, received her Bachelor degree in City Planning (Hons) (1997) in the third place, M. Sci. degree in Geodetic and Geographic Information Technologies (2000), and PhD degree in City and Regional Planning (2007) from the Middle East Technical University. She has been an Erasmus Scholar at Dortmund University and a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Florida for one year in during 2005-2006 and 2012-2013. Currently works as an Assistant Professor at Karadeniz Technical University and is an affiliated researcher of Shimberg Center for Housing Studies in UF. Research interests include regional and environmental planning, GIS, spatial database design, spatio-temporal analyzes.
