Luise Görlach, born 1991 in Thuringia/Germany, is an intrepid globetrotter who has been traveling the world for 6 years. Her studies in the fields of psychology, education science, international development, culture studies and design have led her through more than 40 countries.
Throughout all these journeys, it is the people who are always in the centre of attention. Culture is perceived by her as something vivid that has to be observed with curiosity rather than theorised. Her main focus are diverse Muslim cultures in Southeast Asia and the Middle East where she conducts her research about the various faces of Islam. At the moment she works with ProMosaik Istanbul.
