SEE THE SAINTS

The title ‚See the Saints‘ refers to the two saints, Ambrose, one of the Fathers of the Church, and Charles Borromeo, an important figure of the Counter Reformation in Italy, and others associated with the region we visited, Milan and Lake Maggiore. It is taken from Isaac Watts‘ hymn, ‚Give us the wings of faith to rise within the veil, and see the saints above, how great their joys, how bright their glories be‘.
