The Turns Sepper also sold home-grown vegetables, various salads and other goods. Josef Turn, as he was correctly called, was an old hand when it came to trading. However, he earned his real living at the post office. He works in the office and often closed around noon. Of course his service began very early in the morning at four o’clock. From four to twelve o’clock there are eight hours on duty. In his greenhouse he raised the said plants. When the plants were then big enough, he usually found his dealer at the Main department store in Haßfurt, who bought his goods all at once. At that time, many colleagues were trading in goods of some kind. Sepper smoked a lot. He also had his suppliers there, because his cigarette brands were special to us. He obtained brands such as Pall Mall, Winston, Lucky Strike and other exotic brands from US Americans. He himself mostly smoked his glow sticks without a filter. I hardly saw Sepper without a cigarette in the corner of his mouth. Oh yes, in addition to his vegetable and cigarette trade, he also made colorful sandstones for garden walls. Rainer and Günther earned a few extra marks from him at times. He also sold conifers on the side. He was an all-round salesman par excellence. With his old Ford station wagon he transported stones, vegetables, small trees and everything that was needed or that could be sold. He also gave away a lot. Sepper was always busy. Whether on duty or in his garden, Sepper was always active everywhere.
Mit seinem alten Ford Kombi transportierte er Steine, Gemüse, kleine Bäumchen und alles, was so gebraucht wurde, bzw. was sich verkaufen ließ. Er verschenkte auch einiges. Beschäftigt war Sepper immer. Ob im Dienst oder in seinem Garten Sepper war immer und überall aktiv.
Der Turns Sepper verkaufte nebenbei selbstgezogenes Gemüse, verschiedene Salate und andere Waren. Josef Turn wie er richtig hieß war ein alter Haase, was den
