The trend towards sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental protection in the construction industry – or “green building” – is fast becoming an international megatrend, and a significant driver of the global economy. The building envelope, together with its windows, facades and glass, has a considerable influence on energy consumption and living comfort in a building. These facts prompted a large number of experts – 987 in total – from 25 different countries once again to come to Rosenheim on 7 and 8 October 2010 for this year’s Rosenheim International Window & Facade Conference, which has become Europe’s biggest and most important specialist conference for the industry.
