This inventory lists the music manuscripts of Hans Werner Henze that are kept at the Paul Sacher foundation. Besides sketches, rough drafts and fair copies of his own compositions and arrangements, the collection includes other documents such as the manuscripts of the librettos used and music proofs with corrections and conductor’s markings made by Henze himself. There is also a series of draft manuscripts of music for stage productions, film and radio plays, and for a few works subsequently withdrawn from publication.
