The artist Jan Hoeft was invited by Bunkier Sztuki to create a narration in public space in Kraków. From June 2015 till February 2016 a stainless steel handrail was installed on a public lawn between the two football stadiums of the city. The artist designed a football scarf mimicking the design of the two hostile clubs, which was then placed on one side of the rail. It got stolen every day and replaced immediately. The scarf showed nothing except the number of a call center. There the agents were instructed to explain the whole construction but to deny any art reference. This connection between football fans, construction in public space, and the commercial world led to unusual conversations. Seven authors were comissioned to explore the topics surrounding the project in short stories. The result is a wild mix of football hooliganism, public space and business conversations. Fake historic references stand next to a very personal story; a photographic essay joins a surreal stream of thoughts.
