von

One of the main traits characterizing human beings is the fact that they are beings who have different sorts of reasons to believe something or to act in a certain way. The reasons they have help us understand why they believe what they believe, and act as they act. Human beings, however, do not have only theoretical and practical reasons to believe or to do something. They can also learn to assess critically the quality of their reasons. Herein lies their rationality.
