Tony Matelli: Glass of Water

Tony Matelli. Glass of Water gives an overview of the artist’s ouevre of the last decade, examining themes of abandonment, the indeterminable, simultaneously depicting states of confusion, isolation and rebirth. Glass of Water is a sculpture of a pint of water, half full. The work is made of cast optical glass, and acts as a kind of lens that tightly focuses one of the the central theme of the artist: the indeterminable. It is a sculpture of a question without an answer.
